Our head office and main manufacturing plant is conveniently located in Sydney.

Assta Label House management is always available for quick or urgent decision making with mobile phone numbers accessible on a 24-hour basis.

The Assta Group was established in Sydney in 1947.

The Assta Group has three full manufacturing plants throughout Australia:
Sydney - Assta Label House
Melbourne - Labelhouse
Griffith - Label House

The Assta Group is organised under five divisions:
• Label Printing
• Labelling Systems
• Label Applicators
• Label Printing Machinery
• Agencies and Wholesale Label Printing Supplies.

In addition to this our main production facilities have various rotary and semi-rotary combination printing machine incorporating letterpress, offset, screen-printing and digital.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
Assta Labelhouse offer a complete supply chain management from the sourcing of our raw materials to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, to the supply of inks, plate making materials and even transport and logistics management to ensure prompt delivery of your labels.

Each job is tracked and checked at individual stations through out our production facilities, who inturn report on the jobs progress and enable us to monitor quality control.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
We work with our raw material suppliers to establish the most suitable adhesives, face stocks and inks to provide clients with trouble free application and the correct marriage of face stock and container.

We provide our clients with regular updates of new materials and adhesives as and when they are released to the marketplace.

We have a well-established exchange of research and development information within the Assta group of companies.

Representatives of the group attend overseas conferences and trade shows regularly to keep pace with trends and developments around the world. The Assta Group is a member of the major label trade associations in Australia and overseas - LATMA (Australia), TLMI (USA), FINAT (Europe).

BARCODING ASSISTANCE
Assta Labels and Assta Labelhouse has its own internal barcode scanning equipment in which each job is passed through before production commences to ensure scanability.

We also have a wide range of programs to create most kinds of barcodes from EAN to Pharma-code and UPC numbers.

We work closely with GS1 Australia to monitor improvements and regulations to barcodes.

We also have specialised staff available to discuss and help your staff with any queries they may have relating to barcoding.

MARKETING ASSISTANCE
Assta Labelhouse is heavily involved with labels from many industries, including wine labels family health, animal health, industrial, chemical and food products and we have a vast knowledge of the type of marketing required to help make a product sell.

We are more than happy to assist your marketing staff whether it be in design, stock choices or simply colour selection for new and existing products.

ARTWORK VIA E-MAIL
Assta Labels and Assta Labelhouse has recently upgraded its computer systems to provide one of the most efficient artwork systems available.

Our art Department is not only capable of receiving and transmitting artwork via e-mail,
we can also convert programmes and offer assistance to your designers in providing print ready art.

A colour proof of artwork is provided with each new design regardless if the design is produced in house or externally.

SECURITY OF SUPPLY
Backup supply: Should unforeseen events occur (e.g.: fire, flood or other failure) to curtail supply from our Sydney site we have access to two interstate production facilities all with compatible machinery. (i.e. no re-tooling is required)
